Moon should have been nominated for practically every award as far as I'm concerned.

Especially Clint Mansell's brilliant work on the OST.

I think it would be a good thing for not only the Oscars but Hollywood in general if either "Avatar" or "District 9" cleans up. Big budget movies that don't suck should be celebrated.

I can't say whether or not "Avatar" sucks as I must be one of the few who haven't seen it. I wouldn't mind if it won based on the fact that it's a big budget mainstream movie like I previously wrote.

I thought The Hurt Locker was a nearly perfect film. I don't see any way anyone could compare this to Crash. Crash was preachy. The Hurt Locker is the opposite.

Avatar is all style, no substance.

I wish The Road had been represented. The acting was superb.

District 9

I think the story, conflict and ending were all great. It is also difficult to write an action movie with a good message and yet keep the audience interested and engaged.

I'm disappointed Sharto Copely wasn't nominated for District 9 or Sam Rockwell for Moon

Or that Moon got completely shafted with no nominations because Sony didn't want to push for them.
