Great new tip today to start the year off (about movies losing the story in favor of showy scenes) which is what is wrong with a lot of films these days. It seems a lot of writers have let go of the old storytelling format in order to try and wow us with over the top scenes. Someone has a creative imagination and slaps together 5-6 awesome looking scenes but doesn't find a way to connect them so they make sense
