Hi Bill,

I guess the Universal article doesn't surprise me given the economy and the state of the industry.

As an aspiring screenwriter who's written 3 pretty crappy screenplays and had a spec TV script idea stolen and made into an episode, I guess the only thing to do is keep working on the craft, getting better and move forward on ideas I can hopefully pitch when the market for new scripts improves.

Your "About Me" description is inspiring for those like me out here slogging through!

What the hell? The suits at Encore decided to bump SOFT TARGET to 1 am, and show some stupid movie I've never heard of at 10pm instead! (It's called SCAR-FACE or something like that.)

I was looking forward to watching the movie tonight and reading the script tomorrow.

Should I write them an angry letter?

The Soft Target thing may be time zones - I got an e-mail with the info from the producer, but sometimes the listed time is ET instead of PT. The movie really sucks, though.
