Lancelot Link Monday! So last week I ranted that JURASSIC WORLD might not be the movie to save summer box office because it's a sequel, and maybe what we need is an original film to shake up the audience. I was wrong. Really really wrong. JURASSIC WORLDS not only got an A grade from the audience (Cinemascore) it made *over half a BILLION dollars* worldwide over the weekend. $511.8 million. In 3 days. So that summer box office slump? Over. Like, really over. There's still a lot of summer left, but with an A grade, ticket buyers are going to see this again and recommend it to friends. That should take care of any misfires from now until the end of the season.
