Best Of The Blog

So, here's a sample of the posts that usually pop up on this blog...

1) The LEOPARD MAN post on creating dread and suspense.

2) How NOTTINGHAM became ROBIN HOOD. - my most read blog entry.

3) Chess Moves and DARK PASSAGE.

4) The Fridays With Hitchcock Index - What we can learn about screenwriting from Hitch's films.

5) What does a car chase look like on the page?

6) My First Agent! - actually, the only one I've ever had.

7) Last, but not least: The Saga Of The Brad Pitt Guy. There are 5 parts to it, next part linked at the end of each part before the comments.

What are your favorite blog entries?

  1. Robin Hood link is broken. Works fine without trailing double quote.

  3. Now, then:

If I had to pick a stand-alone, pick-of-the-litter blog, the creme-de-la-creme, it would have to be the Saga of the Brad Pitt Guy.
It is a full meal, with all 3 courses.
It deals with screenwriting, the biz and a whole lot of personal experience (although, sigh and alas, no women in see-through blouses).

A couple of small points and a query:
In part one, Hat Guy picked the restaurant. In part two, Bill picked the restaurant.

Bill ordered coke with 'just ice' and Laurence-waZ brought back coke 'with no ice'.

Did you ever wonder if Hat Guy had an accomplice?
After all, how could he manage to haul you outside or down to the kitchen all by himself (after drugging your drink)?
Laurence-waZ got your coke order wrong. He looked awfully suspicious to me.
