No I haven't been living in a cave, only in Northern England (not much difference, I know), but it was only the other day I read that Blake Snyder was putting on a seminar in London. While I was in LA last November, I went to Samuel French's bookstore and asked the clerk at the desk what the hottest screenwriting book was - to which he replied, "Save The Cat." I bought the book and thought it was good. Very sad news.jazadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00541318880941029864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20291006.post-17818343354789129732009-08-05T00:22:37.940-07:002009-08-05T00:22:37.940-07:00I loved Blake. Anyone who puts their phone number and personal e-mail in their book is either crazy or loves people... Blake loved people and loved story telling. <br /><br />Whenever anyone asked me about screenwriting I would always say, "Read Blake Snyder and Bill Martell."<br /><br />Well, Bill... You're on your own. Keep riding that damned bike and start eating better!!!!J.J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15175658677994719320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20291006.post-89116801964345249172009-08-04T18:47:13.269-07:002009-08-04T18:47:13.269-07:00he was a great guy... a sad day for screenwriters ...he was a great guy... a sad day for screenwriters indeedAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20291006.post-32863680532137275132009-08-04T18:16:58.571-07:002009-08-04T18:16:58.571-07:00That's very sad. That's very sad.Rusty Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16143817211151177797noreply@blogger.com
